6th Grade Trip to Nafplio and Athens

The 6th grade students of E. Mandoulides Schools went on an unforgettable educational excursion to the two capitals of the modern Greek state, Nafplio and Athens, from May 20 to May 23! In the picturesque town of Nafplio, they strolled through the alleys of the old town, visited the Palamidi fortress, and learned firsthand about the history of Greece’s first capital. In Mycenae, they marveled at the Treasury of Atreus and the Lion Gate, while at the ancient theater of Epidaurus, they experienced one of the most remarkable achievements of ancient Greek architecture and theatrical art.  

In Athens, they explored the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis, admired the sculptural decorations housed in the Acropolis Museum, and visited the Hellenic Parliament, enriching their knowledge through experiences they will never forget. With their suitcases filled with memories, images, and joyful moments, they returned to Thessaloniki, ready to say farewell to Elementary School with the most beautiful experiences in their hearts!
