Fifteen German students, accompanied by their teachers, visited our Schools from 22 to 28 April as part of an Erasmus program titled “Nazi Crimes in Greece.”
Together with selected students from our Schools, an initial meeting was held in the school library with Ms. Rina Revach, a survivor of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, and A. Kerameos (Journalist – Postgraduate Student), who moderated the discussion.
The students also visited the Ministry of Macedonia–Thrace (YMATH) as well as the martyred village of Hortiatis, where they were guided through the Holocaust memorial sites. Finally, they had the opportunity to explore the Jewish Museum, the city’s synagogues, and other significant historical landmarks of Thessaloniki.
