A. Kaimakis (12th grade) won the bronze medal in the “27th Austrian Young Physicists’ Tournament” (AYPT), known as the European Physics Cup, held at the University of Leoben in Austria from April 25 to April 27. He participated as the captain of the Greek National Team . With this achievement, the student earned Greece its first-ever medal in the prestigious European competition, where countries such as Germany, Slovakia, Sweden, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, and Iran also competed.
A.Kaimakis will also be a member of the Greek National Team, competing in the “38th International Young Physicists’ Tournament” (IYPT), also known as the World Physics Cup, which will take place at Lund University in Sweden from June 29 to July 6.
