The 3rd grade students, as part of their volunteer activities, lovingly illustrated and adapted the fairytale “The Selfish Giant” by Oscar Wilde. A story filled with messages about solidarity, love, and acceptance came to life anew through the hands of children and will now find its own special place on the bookshelf of KEAT (Centre for the Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind).
We warmly thank Chrysanthi Boutari, a10th-grade student at our school with visual impairment, who transcribed the story into Braille, giving it a voice for all children.
Because giving and creating have no age – only heart!
