With a cheerful and positive spirit, another year of the pioneering Noutree healthy nutrition program has been completed at Mandoulides Schools. The program is addressed to students of all grade levels and aims to raise awareness on balanced nutrition, while at the same time encouraging the adoption of healthy habits from early childhood.
Another important aspect of the program is that it allows parents to stay informed about the products consumed at the school canteen, their nutritional value, and the extent to which they meet their children’s dietary needs.
At the start of this school year, it was time for recognition. The students who stood out last year for their thoughtful food choices were awarded for their attitude. In the Primary School, a 4th Grade student Thanos Siomos (Class D4) won the first prize – a bicycle. A symbolic gift, intended to inspire all Mandoulides students, reminding them that there is a big difference between simply eating and eating well.
At the same time, all students of E1 Class received healthy food products, acknowledging their collective participation in the program and the sensible food choices they made throughout the school year.
