Two Mandoulides Schools students achieved an exceptional distinction as members of the team “SCRAPS by Futurelab”, with which they participated in the First Championship 2026 World Robotics Competition, held in Houston, USA, from April 29 to May 2, 2026.
More specifically, student S. Barberis (11th grade) and student M. Chyta (9th grade), together with their team, won second place worldwide among 160 teams, earning the Champion’s Award Finalist.
It is worth noting that this is the most significant distinction ever achieved by a Greek team in the largest global robotics championship, which takes place annually in Houston, USA.
