On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, three consecutive information sessions titled “Future-Ready Skills & International Pathways: Studies Abroad & Dukes Plus” were held at the Schools’ Cultural and Sports Center, each tailored to a different audience: members of the Studies Abroad cohort, the entire 10th Grade class, and, later in the evening, parents. The keynote speaker was Ms. Katie Krais, Partnerships Director at Dukes Plus, who introduced students and families to the innovative Dukes Plus Future Ready program.

During her presentation, Ms. Krais analyzed the evolving nature of the modern job market, noting that future careers are no longer a linear path. Given that an employee is expected to change an average of 12 jobs during their lifetime, the talk focused on the core soft skills that will be essential by 2030, such as analytical thinking, resilience, adaptability, and technological literacy. Students gained valuable insights into how factors such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and globalization are shaping the international work environment.

The Dukes Plus Future Ready program, offered exclusively to Dukes group schools, aims to enhance the Schools’ existing Studies Abroad program. It serves as a comprehensive support pillar based on gaining work experience, career exploration, and the development of personal and professional skills.

The sessions provided Middle and High School students, as well as their families, with a realistic and thorough overview of international educational pathways and the essential tools required for successful admission to leading universities worldwide.
