On Saturday, March 3, 2018, students A. Davideanu (9th Grade) and M. Batzoli (8th Grade) respectively won 3rd and 2nd place (1st amongst girls for Maria) at the 17th Open School Chess Championship of the Educational Region of Eastern Thessaloniki.
The games, which took place at Vasiliadis Schools, constituted the preliminary stage for the 17th School Chess Championship of Thessaloniki - Chalkidiki, which will be held at the same venue on Saturday, March 10, 2018.
In the corresponding phase of the Championship in the prefecture of Chalkidiki on February 24, 2018, student K. Banaka (7th Grade) ranked 5th.
