The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT), as part of the program "Development of Statistical Education in Greece", organizes for the first time the "Competition in Statistics" in Greece.
The aim of the competition is to highlight talented students interested in statistical science, in the production and use of official statistics in their everyday lives, but also in other areas of society, such as economy and policy making.
Students S. Mastoris, Ch. Alvanos and E. Kimpouropoulou qualified for the second phase of the Statistics Competition.
