1st & 3rd place in the 5th French Public Speaking Contest for Schools - Conseil des Jeunes Citoyens

Students A.-T. Papapavlou (10th Grade - Cadre de vie) and A. Karavasili (8th Grade - Société) won 1st place (Jeune Citoyen Prize) and student A. Gravani (10th Grade - Cadre de vie) won 3rd place (Prix de Mérite) in the finals of the Debate and Oratory-Impromptu Speaking categories respectively of the 5th Public Speaking Meeting for students in the French language - Conseil des Jeunes Citoyens.

The competition, which was conducted entirely in French, was organized by De La Salle College with the participation of 160 students of public and private schools from all over Greece, such as De La Salle College, Arsakeio Senior High School of Thessaloniki, Arsakeio Senior High School of Patra, Greek-French School Saint - Paul in Piraeus, Lycée Léonin Nea Smyrni, Ionian School, Greek-French School of Ursulines and others.

A group of 11 Junior-Senior High School students took part in the competition and the students competed in Impromptu Speaking and Debate in French.

Finally, Senior High School students D. Samolada and Ch. Chorinos, last year's winners of the competition, participated as mentors and judges in the finals.
