Mandoulides Elementary and Junior High School students attended courses and took part in sports, social and cultural activities at Queen Margaret University, in the picturesque, beautiful city of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.
In addition, the participants went on daily excursions to the city St Andrews, which is renowned for its top university, as well as to Glasgow, Stirling Castle, Portobello, and the Highlands lakes.
During this educational trip to Great Britain the students came into contact with Scottish culture, practised English on a daily basis and met peers from Italy, Spain, Russia and China, thus realizing as European citizens the usefulness of speaking a foreign language.
