Two 9th Grade students of our Schools got outstanding distinctions, winning the Silver and Bronze Medal respectively in the 27th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (JBMO) 2023, which was held from 23rd to 28th June in Tirana, Albania. More specifically, they won the following:
Silver Medal: Lazaros Karageorgiou (9th Grade)
Bronze Medal: Ioanna Zachou (9th Grade)
A total of 106 students from eighteen countries participated in the JBMO, eleven countries from Southeast Europe participating officially and eight visiting countries from Europe and Asia, participating unofficially. In total, 11 gold medals, 25 silver medals, and 44 bronze medals were awarded
