Mathematical Thinking and Logic
Students: 8th to 11th Grade
How do mathematicians who excel in Olympiads think?
The Week of Mathematical Thinking and Logic has been organized at the Schools for 18 years, bringing together students with leading educators, school advisors, representatives of the Hellenic Mathematical Society, and Mathematical Olympiad medalists.
It offers free preparation to middle‑ and high‑school students from across the city and the wider region of Central Macedonia, giving them the opportunity to explore more demanding and exciting mathematical topics.
The goal of the program is to strengthen mathematical thinking and prepare students for the examinations of the Hellenic Mathematical Society, as well as for the Balkan and International Mathematical Olympiads, through inspiration, guidance, and high‑level real challenges.
Mathematics Games
Students: 5th, 6th Grade
Can Mathematics become a game? Absolutely.
In this program, 5th and 6th grade students discover a different, fun side of Mathematics. Through riddles, puzzles, logic games, and original hands‑on activities, they explore key mathematical concepts in an enjoyable and creative way.
Guided by imagination, collaboration, and critical thinking, children search for solutions, test their ideas, and realize that Mathematics is hidden everywhere around us. It’s a program that blends learning with play, helping students see Mathematics from a fresh perspective and love it even more.

Introduction to Mathematical Thinking and Logic
Students: 7th Grade
This program is designed for students who love Mathematics and want to explore concepts beyond the school textbook.
Through carefully structured exercises and creative problem‑solving activities, participants deepen their understanding of fundamental mathematical ideas while developing logical reasoning and problem‑solving skills.
It is especially suitable for students who have participated in—or are interested in participating in—competitions of the Hellenic Mathematical Society, offering a more advanced and challenging mathematical experience.

On Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 September, we invite you to the #MathsDifferently program, where Mathematics becomes play, exploration, and creation.
Through riddles, strategies, activities, and Programming, you will explore Geometry, Statistics, Game Theory, and Graph Theory. You will learn to think creatively, solve problems, and discover how Mathematics connects to the real world.
The program is conducted in English, giving you the chance to practice both your English and your Math skills at the same time.

AI Startup Bootcamp
Students: 7th to 11th Grade
Think. Build. Present.
Can Artificial Intelligence become the tool that leads you to your own innovative idea? In this program, students dive into the exciting world of AI and discover how chatbots work, what prompts are, and how technology can transform into a creative partner.
Through hands‑on activities, each team:
- Designs a startup concept that solves a real problem
- Builds an AI chatbot MVP using tools that require no programming
- Tests the solution with fellow students and gathers feedback
- Improves the product through iterative design
- Presents a Live Demo of its final creation
This experience gives participants their first real taste of becoming creators of an AI product; guided by collaboration, imagination, and curiosity.
The program is inspired by our student Maria‑Eleni Tsiopoulou, member of the 2026 National Girls’ Informatics Team.
Science in Action
Students: 5th to 9th Grade
Can experiments make science… exciting? Absolutely.
In this program, students dive into the fascinating world of Chemistry, Biology, and Physics through original, interactive, and hands‑on experiments. They discover how nature works, experiment freely, and watch science “come alive” right before their eyes.
Through this experience, they cultivate curiosity, strengthen critical thinking, and develop a deeper, more meaningful connection with science—learning in a creative and enjoyable way.
The program was designed on the initiative of three students of the Schools: M. Andras, E. Vasileiou Avgoustoglou, and I. Kesoglou (11th Grade).

Mandoulides Robotixlab Day
Because the number of participants is limited, priority will be strictly observed.
Students: 5th to 9th Grade
Can a plastic bottle be transformed into something impressive? In this program, imagination, creativity, and technology come together to give new life to everyday objects.
Through two 90‑minute workshops, participants are introduced to the world of robotics, 3D design, and 3D printing. They will design and build an original object made of hard plastic and program their robot to complete an exciting mission.
With Robotixlab’s hands‑on “Out of the Box Learning” method, children learn through experimentation, collaboration, and problem‑solving, developing skills in creative thinking, design, and programming.
The program is delivered by Robotics Engineer Antonis Kanouras and Robotixlab, who have collaborated with Mandoulides Schools for more than 10 years, offering innovative learning experiences in robotics and digital fabrication.
Mandoulides Robo‑Coders Days
Students: 4th to 9th Grade
Through a variety of activities, students discover the fundamentals of programming and develop a creative relationship with the computer.

Speech & Debate Tournament
Students: 7th to 12th Grade
Would you like to argue convincingly, express your ideas with confidence, and discover the power of spoken word?
Students from all schools will have the opportunity to explore the main rhetorical events, such as dual debates, impromptu speaking, persuasive speaking, and expressive reading. At the same time, they will become familiar with the rules of a mock trial, taking on roles and developing skills in argumentation, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Through hands‑on activities and creative challenges, participants learn to speak with clarity, support their viewpoints, and communicate effectively with their audience.
Let's Talk Day
Students: 5th, 6th Grade
5th and 6th grade students will be introduced to the exciting world of Debate and Group Discussion, developing communication, collaboration, and argumentation skills. Through interactive activities and engaging discussion topics, they will become familiar with the basic rules of rhetorical events and learn how to organize and present their ideas effectively.
At the end of the program, they will participate in mini debates in English, putting into practice everything they have learned and discovering how creative and enjoyable the exchange of ideas can be.

English & Adventure Camp
We, believing that today’s children are deprived of nature, established the English & Adventure Camp program after the end of the school year, giving them the opportunity to take part in a ten-day genuine adventure that combines fun, creativity and, at the same time, English language practice. This summer the camp offers a unique experience that empowers young students to become time travelers, discovering yesterday and creating tomorrow, while drawing inspiration from the past to imagine and shape a more creative and exciting world under the theme “Discover Yesterday… Create Tomorrow.”

AI Startup Sprint & Innovation Program
by Harvard Women in Computer Science
This summer, students of Mandoulides Schools from 6th Grade to 10th Grade will have the opportunity to participate in the AI Startup Sprint & Innovation Program, an intensive three-day innovation program organized by Harvard Women in Computer Science, in collaboration with the organization Learn with Leaders.
The program focuses on developing skills in artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, design thinking, and prototyping through experiential workshops and guidance from Harvard students.
The aim of the program is to empower the new generation of innovative students and promote the responsible use of technology for positive social impact.
What is the AI Startup Sprint & Innovation Program?
It is a fast-paced innovation program where students:
- Use modern Artificial Intelligence tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Figma, Replit, Lovable)
- Learn to identify real-world problems and design solutions
- Create a functional prototype (MVP – Minimum Viable Product)
- Prepare and present a pitch deck (idea presentation in slides)
- Apply the Design Thinking methodology
- Develop public speaking, collaboration, and entrepreneurial thinking skills
- Receive guidance from Harvard student mentors
- Gain insights on how to connect personal projects with university applications

What are the age requirements for the programs?
Age requirements vary by program:
- English & Adventure Camp: from pre-kindergarten to 6th grade
- Mandoulides Basketball Fundamentals Camp: from 4th grade to 3rd year of middle school
- Soccer Camp: from pre-kindergarten to 3rd year of middle school
How can I enroll my child to a program?
- Fill out the Expression of Interest form online.
- Pay the full participation fee in a single payment by the 1st of June, 20206.
Do you offer transportation?
Yes, organized transportation options are available. Details are provided at registration.
*Emergency changes to school buses are limited to absolutely necessary cases and are made only with the approval of the Administration, provided there are serious reasons and service is feasible.
Is a specific level of English required for the English & Adventure Camp?
There is no restriction on English level. Children are placed in groups based on their level (Basic / Bilingual).
What should each camper bring with them every day?
English & Adventure Camp: Pencil case with pens, a pencil, eraser, colored pencils and markers. Plus an extra set of clothes (T-shirt, shorts and athletic socks). Sunscreen (first application at home). Water bottle and extra snacks (the schools’ canteen will operate as usual).
Mandoulides Basketball Fundamentals Camp: An additional set of clothes (T-shirt, shorts and athletic socks). Towel. Water bottle and extra snacks (the schools’ canteen will operate as usual).
Soccer Camp: An additional set of clothes (T-shirt, shorts and athletic socks). Hat and sunscreen. Small towel. Water bottle and extra snacks (the schools’ canteen will operate as usual).
What happens if we need to cancel the participation?
In case of withdrawal from participation, the Statement of Withdrawal must be submitted electronically no later than 5 days before the start of the program. In that case, 50% of the total amount due will be retained. If the withdrawal is not properly notified or is submitted late, the full amount due will be retained.
