Summer Creative Activities

The school opens its doors to welcome children of the city from 4 to 12 years of age, with a multitude of activities, innovative projects, lots of games, relaxation and joy.

English & Adventure Camp

Mandoulides Schools, convinced that children today have lost contact with nature, have established the English & Adventure Camp. After the end of the school year, students have the opportunity to participate in a true adventure for 10 days, combining fun and creativity with practicing English.

The program is addressed to students from all over the city aged 4 to 12 and aims:

  • To get children in touch with nature.
  • To offer them ten carefree days of knowledge and adventure.
  • To combine learning and creativity with joy and fun.
  • To contribute to the practice of English.

All Star Basketball & Shooting - Footwork Camp

A specialized program addressed to anybody wishing to improve SHOOTING

Girls’ Volleyball Camp

The program aims to teach techniques of defensive and offensive strokes (bump, pass, service, spike), while focusing on the human personality and the development of a healthy competitive attitude.

The program includes:

  • Exercises on individual technique
  • Individual and group tactics, and teamwork cultivation
  • Fitness and Muscle toning
  • Specialized exercises of empowerment in the water
  • Getting to know the most popular summer sport, Beach Volleyball
  • Learning the regulations of Volleyball and Beach Volleyball



Soccer Camp

With the constant supervision of highly qualified coaches, in carefully selected sports facilities, with desire to play and love for the most popular sport of all, Soccer Camp is looking forward to welcoming its athletes.

The program includes:

  • Learning the regulations of Soccer and Beach Soccer
  • Footvolley and Beach Soccer tournaments
  • Exercise program focusing on the improvement of fitness and muscle toning
  • Specialized program focusing on individual and team / sub-team techniques

Educational Programs at Colleges and Universities Abroad

Period: 11 - 24/07/2017
Students: 5th - 11th Grade
Programs’ Supervisor: Sofia Nikoloudaki

The program is aimed at students wishing to make creative and pleasant use of their summer vacation while practicing the foreign languages they are taught during the school year, travelling to Great Britain, Germany, France, Switzerland or the USA.

The program includes:

  • 15-day accommodation and full board at colleges or universities in the country of the students' preference
  • Flights and transfer costs
  • Escort and continuous supervision by experienced teachers of the Schools
  • Teaching of the foreign language the students have selected

Full-day and half-day excursions



Rhetorical Speech Competitions

28 - 29/08/2017
Days and times: Monday - Tuesday, 10:00 - 13:00

Students: 7th - 12th Grade

During the first week of September, 8th to 12th grade students from schools around the city can attend the Rhetorical Speech Competitions program, during which they have the opportunity to be exposed to rhetorical disciplines and to train for successful participation in rhetorical contests.


Let’s Talk Workshop

Summer Art & Science Days

Mandoulides Computer Epathlon & Hackathlon Camp

28 - 29/08/2017
Days and times: Monday - Tuesday, 10:00 - 13:00
Students: 4th - 9th Grade

Program Supervisors: Lazaros Tzimkas & Dimitrios Chatzikostas

 Through a variety of activities, students get to know the secrets of programming and develop a creative relationship with the computer.

The program includes:

  • Programming three-dimensional games with the MS Kodu programming language
  • Programming of applications for mobile and Android devices with the AppInventor programming environment
  • Composing electronic music on computers
  • Image processing techniques and creating multimedia stories



Mandoulides Programming Day

Day and times: Wednesday, 10:00 - 13:00
Students: 7th - 12th Grade

Program Supervisor: Lazaros Tzimkas
Lecturer: Christos Malliarakis

The program aims to inspire students to program their computer. Younger students are taught the philosophy of programming and learn to program in specially designed virtual microcosms. Then they are invited to program virtual robots to find their way out of labyrinths, and to solve playful problems with the minimum number of commands.

The program includes:

  • teaching of algorithms
  • design and how to solve problems
  • plan their solutions in a programming language.


Mathematical Games

The aim of the program is to guide and motivate children to approach the basic concepts of mathematics by combining knowledge and entertainment.

The program includes:

  • Playful mathematical activities using everyday tangible materials
  • Innovative experiential activities that make children love Mathematics

The purpose of this program is to involve and attract the attention of students through carefully designed exercises, subtly leading them to the fundamental understanding of concepts. The aim is to prompt students to experiment, to form hypotheses, and to ask the right questions in order to understand that they are able to overcome obstacles and discover their own answers to questions and complex mathematical problems.
