On Saturday, October 11th, 2014, classes ST2 and ST4 of Mandoulides Elementary Schools participated in the presentation of the book "Shadows on the Lake," by Persefoni Karampati. Through a small theatrical event based on the book, students briefly experienced the climate of the Macedonian Struggle at the Lake of Giannitsa. They recognized the generosity of Captain Agra and felt the friendship that was created during those difficult years between a Greek and a Bulgarian child. The set was simple and portrayed the image of the lake. Students participated in the theatrical event with great joy and emotion, thus honoring all those who fought for the liberation of Macedonia.
