Students of the 2nd grade welcomed the author with great joy and impressed him with the dramatization of "The Blackbird Requires the Forest be Saved" (Patakis Editions) and their song. Through their experience, they were sensitized to environmental issues and they realized the value of the forest and their important role in its protection. They saved a little surprise for the end... "their own forest" made with love.
