On the occasion of the scheduled educational trip of 24 students and 3 teachers to Strasbourg, France, from October 5th to 8th 2015 to observe the work of the plenary session of the European Parliament, participants met with Ioannis Gklavakis, Member of European Parliament (MEP) and member of the European People's Party. Students had the opportunity to derive useful information about the role of the European Parliament in shaping legislation and European Union policies, as well as about the representation of citizens and the protection of their rights.
