Thanksgiving is a very special holiday, during which we remember the importance of being grateful and appreciative of friendship. English Garden students reenacted this important historical event. Seeds students, dressed as turkeys, welcomed the natives, played by the Blossoms, who reached the New World on the “Mayflower.” The natives sang songs with the turkeys, in order to honor their newfound friendship. On the other hand, the Indians offered the natives a peace treaty and danced a traditional Indian dance.
