Mandoulides Computer Epathlon & Hackathlon

The 1st - for this school year - Mandoulides Computer Epathlon & Hackathlon was held on Saturday, January 23rd with great success and a very high participation of students. Our students traveled to the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia and with the help of the design program Free Cad, designed their own three-dimensional ziggurat models. They also had the opportunity to observe the process of three-dimensional printing up close, thanks to the guidance of representatives of the company Create N 'Paste. The program ended with the established marathon Hackathlon, during which students practiced solving interdisciplinary puzzles in order to "break" the hidden codes of the game. At the end of the day, we agreed to meet again for the upcoming program Art & Science Days, which begins with the International Mathematics Competition Kangaroo Plus on February 13th.
