Students of the Day Care Center (Seniors and Seeds) explored the wonderful world of books during their visit to the Daniilideios Children’s Library of Kalamaria, as part of the innovative program “The bean and the chickpea” and the operation of the lending library throughout the duration of the school year. With particular attention to developing a love for books and reading as early as preschool, children were guided to the hospitable public lending library. They skimmed through fairy tales, were introduced to different types of literature and book categories and were informed on how they can borrow books.
