Students E. Ioannidis (9th grade) and M. Triantafyllidis (7th grade) won the 1st place and the gold medal and the 9th place respectively in the 28th National Individual Chess Championship 2016, in their respective category. The Championship was held on April 23rd - 25th in Kallithea. The same students had previously won gold medals in the 2nd stage of the Championship (Inter-prefectural Championship of Thessaloniki - Halkidiki 05 - 06/03) and silver medals in the first phase (Championship of Eastern Thessaloniki, 28/02).
