The Traditional Dance group of Mandoulides Schools’ Alumni Association participated in the 2nd Traditional Dance Festival organized by the Municipality of Nea Zichni in Serres on Friday, July 15th, 2016. The Group, proudly bearing the banner of the Alumni Association, presented island dances from Naxos: syrto of Naxos, kotsakia, vlacha of Naxos, kalamatiano and mpalo, wore traditional costumes from the island of Samos, and moved the audience. This performance allowed our Schools’ group to meet with numerous Associations from all over Greece and to lay the foundations for a long-term cooperation in the future!
