On Wednesday, December 14th, 2016 the students of 4th Grade visited the New Waterfront of Thessaloniki to experientially understand basic distances. The students, while enjoying the way from Makedonia Palace Hotel to the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki, learned through a series of training activities to measure, compare and assess distances. Meanwhile, they got to know the usefulness of maps as a means to verify the accuracy of their measurements in specific fields.
