Students M. Batzoli (7th Grade) and M. Triantafyllidis (8th Grade) each won first place in their categories (k14 and u14 respectively) in the Individual Youth Chess Championships of the Prefectures of Thessaloniki and Halkidiki 2017.
The matches were held between 22 and 30 December 2016 at the Philippion hotel of our city. Those ranking first in each category qualify for the National Individual Youth Championships to be held in July 2017.
