"Mr. Aristeidis" is not just any puppet. He is our wise friend who tells us stories and teaches us a lot of new things. During our visit he talked about the beauties of our city, showed us photos and told us secrets and stories we did not know. But we were determined to learn them too ... that is why, guided by our teachers, we followed his steps, toured around our city and saw its most important monuments.
Our "journey" started from the castles. We passed through Portara and made our first stop at the church of Saint Demetrios. There we saw the famous mosaics as well as the place where the Saint was imprisoned and martyred, and we worshiped his holy relic.
Finally, we saw Rotunda, Kamara and the emblem of our city, the White Tower.
