As part of Current Affairs, a speech was given to the students of 10th and 11th Grade by Metropolitan of Smyrna, Mr. Bartholomew. The speech was entitled "Young People and the Orthodox Church in the 21st century" and it took place at Mandoulides Schools Cultural and Sports Center on Wednesday, January 31st, 2018.
The informative speech included a contribution by His Eminence with brief references to the ways in which the youth can approach the Church today and how they can interact with each other in love and freedom. Then, the students had the opportunity to ask critical questions and get important answers to issues that concern them.
