On Saturday, February 10, 2018, the 17th School Chess Championship of the Prefectures of Thessaloniki and Halkidiki took place on the premises of the Elementary School of Lagyna.
The representative group of our Junior High School won 2nd place -silver medal- and thus qualified for the 16th National School Chess Championship that will be held on March 31, 2018. Our team consists of students I. Dimoulios, A. Davideanu, M. Triantafyllidis (9th Grade) and M. Batzoli, P. Tzartzi (8th Grade) and K. Banaka (7th Grade).
