Grandparents narrate fairytales to the students of Day Care Center

As part of the pioneering program “The Bean and the Chickpea”, we invited the grandfathers and grandmothers of Day Care Center students to visit their grandchildren’s classes and narrate a folk tale of their liking.

Fairytales stimulate the imagination of children, cultivate emotions and can convey messages in a pleasant and creative way. Folk tales have stood the test of time mainly through oral narratives and constitute a bridge of communication between children and older generations, retaining their value all the way.
