On the occasion of the thematic unit “Learning to Move Safely”, the students of Kindergarten visited the Traffic Education Park in Panorama.
The aim of our excursion was, through an experiential approach, for Kindergarten to get to know and understand the rules of the Road Traffic Code early on, so that they will constitute the basis of proper road behavior and later contribute to avoiding accidents.
They learned the basic rules of pedestrian behavior when they are in the street. For example, we check the road both ways, we follow the pedestrian traffic lights, we always use the zebra crossings and we walk only on the sidewalks. The students also realized that we should not forget to always use a safety belt and a helmet for our safety.
