Speech by Mandoulides Schools graduate Rafail Tsiamis

On Tuesday, 21 January, 2020, Rafail Tsiamis ’18, currently studying at Harvard University, spoke to the students of 9th, 10th and 11th Grade that exceled in the 2018-2019 competitions of the Hellenic Mathematical Society (HMS) and participated in the 2nd Mathematical Student Conference of HMS. It is worth noting that Rafail excelled in many International and Panhellenic competitions.

Rafail attended the Schools’ Studies Abroad program which prepares senior high school students for studies at USA and European universities without an International Baccalaureate (IB).

Rafail’s participation in the above competitions and, above all, his distinctions clearly demonstrate the importance of his presence at our school, as he gave our students the opportunity to ask questions and gather important information regarding mathematics and studies at international universities.
