Today and up until Friday, 1st Grade will implement the second project entitled: “Travelling to Fairyland with the Jolly Postman”.

As part of the pioneering program “Learning without Books”, students of 1st – 4th Grade work on two interdisciplinary weekly projects during the school year.

The first project was entitled “Once upon a time ... at Christmas” and it took place on the last week before Christmas. The aim of the project was to bring children in touch with the Christmas spirit but also with timeless values such as friendship, mutual help, love, cooperation and respect for the environment.

The children left their books and notebooks at home and transformed their classrooms into real workshops accompanied by Janet and Allan Ahlberg's “Jolly Postman” and his friends from well-known fairy tales. They worked in teams and gained a lot of knowledge by playing, making and creating.

The journey begins … Stay tuned …
