“Local Secret” in Virtual Enterprise 2020
On Friday, 28 February, selected students of 10th Grade participated in the Student Virtual Enterprise Trade Fair at Mediterranean Cosmos. During the fair the students presented the virtual enterprise “Local Secret”, which was created as part of the “Virtual Enterprise 2020” program.
“Local Secret” is a company that offers tourism services on a user-friendly website. Its innovation lies in the fact that it offers visitors to Thessaloniki personalized suggestions for historical and archaeological sites as well as dining and entertainment venues. The proposed visit schedule is tailored to each visitor’s personal profile and interests, and is the result of evaluation of the recommendations that “Local Secret” has received from people who live in, work in and love this city.
The students had the opportunity to inform the fair organizers, the judges and a large number of the consumers about their business endeavor and the knowledge they gained about running a business by working as a team in order to create their own enterprise.
The event was organized by Junior Achievement Greece (JA Greece).
