We celebrate Earth Day with the author Giorgos Lempesis
On Wednesday and Thursday, April 21-22, as part of the educational program ‘Book Partners’, the author Giorgos Lempesis visited our 4th Grade students. After reading his book entitled “Fish Soup 2: Operation Cap” our students were inspired and created their own art gallery through the application “Art Steps”. Here they put up their own work as well as famous art works by known artists; art work to which they” intervened” in order to highlight the severe weather phenomenon brought on by climate change.
The author, after the presentation and obviously impressed by the paintings of our little artists, answered a multitude of questions and did a variety of activities with the students, thus completing the educational program "Book Clubs" in a most entertaining way.
