Informational Meetings for Elementary School
A few days after the beginning of the new school year, parents and guardians of Elementary School students had the opportunity to get informed of the curriculum and educative programs of each grade via the Internet.
During the meeting particular emphasis was placed on the innovative and pioneering programs of each grade, the teaching methods and teachers' approach to students as well as the fundamental principles on which each grade's curriculum is based. There was a special reference to the Workshops on Skills which are a new addition to the school schedule. Their goal is to assist all Elementary School students in cultivating various skills and ultimately becoming well-rounded individuals.
Mrs Aspa Chasioti, General Director of Mandoulides Schools, initiated the discussion about the curriculum of the 1st grade. She highlighted the role of school in the formation of students' personality. Furthermore, she made an extensive reference to the way Mandoulides Schools have adapted to the new circumstances imposed by the coronavirus pandemic and wished every student a creative school year full of dreams and achievements.
The teachers being responsible for each grade expressed their wish for an effective collaboration with parents throughout the school year, since this is considered a prerequisite for a creative and constructive school year as well as students' full development of their personality.
