3rd grade student A. Mpekiari earned 2nd place and the silver medal in the Panhellenic Chess Championship that was held in Patra from 30/08 to 05/09, in the category of Individual Chess Championship for Young Students under the age of 8. In fact, A. Mpekiari and two other candidates tied for 2nd place, but she managed to win the following games and fairly earned 2nd place.
