Webinar: Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning 15/01/2022
In order to spark students’ interest in mathematics and familiarize them with mathematical notions that go beyond textbooks, Mandoulides Schools organize actions that cultivate students’ mathematical thinking and reasoning and prepare them to participate as well as earn distinctions in both national and international mathematical competitions.
In fact, mathematics cultivate students’ thinking, while guiding it towards secure pathways. For the school year 2021 - 2022, the Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning program, which has been organized by Mandoulides Schools for the past 15 years and was conceptualized by their founder, Evangelos Mandoulidis, will be conducted online due to the extraordinary epidemiological conditions.
On Saturday, 16 October 2021, four lessons took place and were attended by 215 students from all over the country. Each lesson lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes, from 17:00 to 18:45.
On Saturday, 15 January 2022, four more lessons that will each last for 1 hour and 30 minutes will be conducted from 17:00 to 18:45, according to the following schedule. The program is addressed to students of the 8th - 12th grades from throughout Greece as well as the Greek Diaspora.
