Silver medal in the 40th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO 2023)

The student of our Schools, Panagiotis Liabas (12th Grade), won the silver medal in the 40th Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (BMO 2023) which was held in Antalya, Turkey from 8th until 13th May 2023.

He was previously awarded a Gold Medal at the 40th National Mathematical Olympiad "ARCHIMEDES", which enabled him to participate in the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad.

It is worth noting that the 3rd year high school student has already been accepted to the leading University of Cambridge, Great Britain, after attending the Studies Abroad program, which prepares high school students for admission to universities in America and Europe without International Baccalaureate (IB).

In addition to mathematics, his rich resume includes awards in computer science as well as in astronomy - astrophysics.
