Our students achieved outstanding distinctions in the Spring Swimming Cup for 10-11-12-year-olds, held by the Swimming Federation at Poseidonion Swimming Club in Thessaloniki.
More specifically, our student K. Gitsou (6th Grade) won first place and the gold medal in the 200m backstroke for 12-year-old girls. She also finished in third place and won the bronze medal in the 50m backstroke for 12-year-old girls, and when competing with the mixed team of 12-year-old girls she won first place at the 4x100m freestyle and second place in the 4x50m mixed boys-girls category.
Our student A. Kourtesi (6th Grade) won first place and the gold medal in the 100m freestyle for 12-year-old girls, and she got the second place and silver medal in the 100m breaststroke for 12-year-old girls.
In the same event, our student won first place and the gold medal in the 50m freestyle for 12-year-old girls.
She also excelled in the team events. Particularly, she won first place and the gold medal in the 4x100m with the mixed team of 12-year-old girls, as well as in the 4x100m freestyle for 12-year-old girls, where she also won first place and the gold medal, while in the 4x50m freestyle mixed boys-girls category for 12-year-olds, she finished in second place and got the silver medal.
