25th March has a dual nature, both national and religious. On this day, Greeks celebrate the beginning of the revolution of 1821 against the Turkish yoke, honoring our ancestors. At the same time, the Orthodox faith is honored, commemorating the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary. It heralds the joyful news of the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Daycare Centre and Kindergarten students honored this dual celebration by creating crafts of both historical and religious significance.
The celebration concluded with reciting poems and songs and a parade held on the Kindergarten premises.
