3rd place nationwide in the 3 rd Panhellenic Student Competition of Mathematical Reasoning and Computational Thinking “Alan Turing”

The 11th Grade students M. Seneki and T. Senekis participated in the final round of the Panhellenic Competition “Alan Turing” on Saturday, 13th April in Patras and won 3rd place in Greece. 1788 students from schools all over Greece participated in the competition.

The objectives of the Mathematical Reasoning and Computational Thinking Competition are to enhance students’ interest in Mathematics and Informatics, to develop the students’ personalities, self-esteem, confidence, and self-awareness through collaborative problem-solving methods, to enhance students’ critical, logical, and analytical thinking through puzzle and problem-solving and to enhance students’ ability to manage their time properly in a given situation and to respond effectively under pressure while developing strategic skills.
