Cancellation/postponement of scheduled events for preventive reasons
Due to the coronavirus epidemic and following the instructions of the National Public Health Organization (EODY), the Schools are cancelling for preventive reasons scheduled mass events at the Schools’ Cultural Center, outside the school premises and abroad.
More specifically, the following events will not take place:
Kindergarten:
- 10/03 Theatrical Performance “Thumbelina”, English Garden, Mandoulides Schools Cultural and Sports Center.
- 11/03 From Kindergarten to Elementary School, parents' briefing, Kindergarten, Beatles, Mandoulides Schools Cultural and Sports Center (postponed for 29 April).
- 13/03 Educational Program “Anger, Anger! No Harm Done”, Pre-K, “Little Lyrical Planet” culture house
- 16/03 Educational Program “Mediterranean Diet - We Are What we Eat”, Kindergarten, “Little Heroes” complex.
- 16/03 Parent-Teacher Meeting for special educational programs.
- 16/03 Parent-Teacher Meeting for Day Care Center, Kindergarten, Elementary School Students, Presentation of 2nd Term reports
- 27/03 Visit of Olympic Champion Spyros Gianniotis.
Elementary School:

- 21/03 International Mathematics Competition “Kangaroo”, 2nd - 6th Grade, Junior-Senior High School premises (postponed for 9 May).
- 23/03 Celebration for the 1821 Revolution and The Annunciation, 2nd Grade, Mandoulides Schools Cultural and Sports Center.
Junior-Senior High School:
- 07/03 7th French Debate Competition “Conseil de Jeunes Citoyens”, selected junior high school students, De La Salle College.
- 07/03 Panhellenic Physics Competition for senior and junior high school students “Aristotle 2020” (postponed for May)
- 09/03 Current Affairs: Speech on Voluntary Blood Donation, 11th - 12th Grade, Mandoulides Schools Cultural and Sports Center.
- 09/03 Current Affairs: Speech on Bone Marrow Donation, 10th - 11th Grade, Mandoulides Schools Cultural and Sports Center.
- 11 - 15/03 European Student Conference in Mathematics “EUROMATH 2020”, selected 9th - 10th Grade students, Grand Hotel Palace.
- 13/03 Theatrical Performance “Noah's Family”, Mandoulides Schools Cultural and Sports Center (postponed for May).
- 13/03 School Vocational Guidance, 10th Grade, visits to workplaces.
- 15 - 21/03 “Education for Heritage, Heritage for Education”, ERASMUS+ program, visit of teachers and students from Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Romania, 9th - 10th Grade, Mandoulides Schools premises.
- 19 - 22/03 Panhellenic Forensics Tournament, Forensics Club students, Pierce - The American College of Greece, Athens (postponed for May or June).
- 21/03 International Mathematics Competition “Kangaroo”, Junior-Senior High School students, Junior-Senior High School premises (postponed for 9 May).
- 21/03 Preparation for International Young Naturalists' Tournament (IYNT), 9th - 10th Grade, Junior-Senior High School premises.
- 23/03 Evangelos Mantoulidis Day, Celebration for the Greek Revolution and The Annunciation, Junior-Senior High School students, teachers, parents, Mandoulides Schools Cultural and Sports Center.
- 27/03 Pilgrimage to Mount Athos, 11th Grade, Mount Athos (postponed).
- 27/03 Visit of Olympic Champion Spyros Gianniotis.
In addition, because of the Ministry of Education's recent decision to suspend educational visits abroad, the following trips will not take place:
- 8th International Literature Student Conference, organizes by Zografeio Lykeio and Mandoulides Schools, Istanbul, 1 - 5, April (postponed for spring 2021).
- Visit to the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), Geneva, 1 - 5, March.
- European Parliament Project EUROSCOLA, Strasbourg, 4 - 6, March.
- Visit to the European Parliament as part of the program “Students as Diplomats”, Brussels, 16 - 18, March.
- Participation of the orchestra and choir in the 18th International “Young2020bohemia prague” Festival, 26 - 29, March.
