A group of 10th grade students was awarded the "Commendation for Cultural Contribution" under the Virtual Enterprise program organized by the Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AYE) at the Mediterranean Cosmos Mall in Thessaloniki. The students participated in a student trade fair, where they presented their innovative product “Hermes Pod.” This is a website-application through which the user can be guided to museums and other places of cultural interest, using the smartphone. The virtual enterprise “Hermes Pod” created by students was selected as a finalist for the National Competition which will showcase the best virtual enterprise and will be held in Athens on the 25th of June. The group that set up the virtual enterprise is comprised of the following students: G. Venizelos, I. Girousis, C. Gkantsinikoudi, A. - S. Dimitriou, S. Zafeiriadis, G. Zevgaridou, T. Zikouli, M. Katsogianni, P. Ketsetsidis, and M. Tziallas.
