On Thursday, November 6th, 2014, students of the Junior High School attended the Environmental Actions of Junior High School Groups program at the Schools’ Cultural and Sports Center, under the rubric of Environmental Education Week, an institution that was established by the Ministry of Education during the academic year 2012 - 2013. Students learned about the content and purposes of environmental programs carried out over the last two years, as well as about upcoming environmental campaigns and activities. Afterward, they were informed on the Schools’ participation in the thematic network "Eco Schools," which operates under the supervision of the Greek Society for the Protection of Nature, and on the fact that the Schools received the Eco-Schools flag that is awarded by the society in 2007, 2011 and 2014.
