With the slogan “Nothing is given to us free in life! Everything is conquered with courage and effort!” students of the 4th to 6th grade exchanged views and were briefed by members of the School for the Blind in Thessaloniki during an event held as part of the program “We Talk About us.” Everyday life and the struggle of people with visual impairment was the main theme of the meeting, a meeting that moved and sensitised the students, while at the same time tried to make them think about what it means to be different, stressing that all people are equal to each other and that life belongs to those who fight and try.
