On Thursday, April 27th, 2017, the award ceremony for Junior - Senior High School students who participated in the 1st Ancient Greek Language Competition took place at the "Manolis Andronikos" ceremony hall of the 2nd Experimental Junior High School of Thessaloniki and the 1st Experimental General Senior High School of Thessaloniki. The competition was held on Saturday, February 18th, 2017, under the scientific supervision of the Institute of Modern Greek Studies - "Manolis Triandaphyllidis Foundation" and it concerned 9th, 11th and 12th Grade students.
Out of the 70 Junior High School students that participated, 5 Mandoulides Schools students were among the top 15. More specifically, M. - E. Papagianni won 2nd place, Z. - M. Kamopoulou was 4th, S. Mastoris 6th, K. Papazoglou 10th and E. Dolopikou ranked 13th. Out of the 98 Senior High School students that participated, K. Athanasopoulos (11th Grade) ranked 9th and E. Michalopoulou (11th Grade) was 12th.
