Olympic Medalists Meet with the Leader of the Loyal Opposition

As part of his visit to the Thessaloniki International Fair, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Leader the Loyal Opposition, had lunch with the students who excelled in the 58th International Mathematical Olympiad: V. Georgiadis, graduate of the Schools and first-year student of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, who won the gold medal, and R. Tsiamis, student of the 12th Grade of the Schools, who won the silver medal and also came first in the final phase of the Panhellenic Space Astronomy Competition and will participate in the 11th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics, to be held in Thailand in November.

Two students of Architecture at Aristotle University, who took part in a world architecture and design competition and won one of the top awards, were also invited to the lunch. Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis warmly congratulated them and talked with them about their goals and their dreams for the future.
