Vocational Guidance Experiential Workshop

Eighteen active 10th Grade students of Madoulides Schools participated in the first for this year STEAMulator vocational guidance experiential workshop, which took place on the premises of Veltio. They toured around the state-of-the-art offices of the company and attended a detailed presentation on the subject, the objectives and the philosophy of the company.

Shortly thereafter, the students participated in the STEAMulator interactive simulation workshop, during which they surprised both their teachers and the company staff with their knowledge and skills.

The aim of the STEAMulator program is for students to understand basic scientific concepts and develop their critical thinking, team spirit and creativity, while at the same time realizing how these skills could be applied to real working conditions.

We are very grateful to Veltio, which helped with this effort and offered both its beautiful premises and two excellent partners, Ms. Rammou and Mr. Dimopoulos, who disseminated their knowledge and experience in the modern vocational world.

More specifically, Ms. Rammou, Human Resources Manager, said about STEAMulator: "We think that it is very important for young children especially at this age to have a vision of what their city and country can offer them, in view of choosing their professional careers. It is a great opportunity for children to be exposed to such activities".

The STEAMulator educational program is organized by the Creative Vision Lab and supported by the European Information Center, Europe Direct, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and Alexandria Innovation Zone.
