The students of 4th Grade presented their celebration, which was dedicated to the four-day holiday of the liberation of Thessaloniki from the Turks in 1912, the epoch of the 1940s, the celebration of the flag and the patron saint of Thessaloniki, Saint Demetrius. The students recited poems, danced traditional dances and sang in an effort to remind us all of the bravery, deep faith and unparalleled boldness our ancestors exhibited in the past so that we can enjoy our freedom today.
