The program is addressed to teachers (Senior Ambassadors) and students (Junior Ambassadors) of senior high schools and aims to encourage young people, secondary and technical education students in particular, to understand their rights as EU citizens, to become familiar with the work and responsibilities of the European Parliament and its Members as well as to understand how they can participate in shaping public life and the functioning of democracy within the European Union. In Greece the program is implemented with the approval and support of both the Hellenic Parliament and the Ministry of Education.
