During Mandoulides Schools Christmas Bazaar, the students of Kindergarten presented their performance “Christmas and New Year” with traditional carols and customs.
The students took us on a trip down memory lane with their energy and filled us with nostalgia for our fabled childhood. The students’ parents, friends and grandparents flooded the Theater of the Cultural and Sports Center of the Schools and welcomed the young protagonists with applause and broad smiles.
Despite their initial anxiety, our little students managed to convey the true meaning of the festive season and reconnected us with our roots. They took us back to the old days, when homes used to so sweet with all their Christmas delicacies, and children used to listen to fairy tales and other stories about elves and pixies next to the fireplace.
