Mandoulides Students in International and Balkan Mathematical Olympiads

Mandoulides Schools students won important distinctions in the Qualifying Competition of the Hellenic Mathematical Society which took place in Athens, on Saturday, 18 July, 2020, for the selection of the National Teams that will represent Greece in the 61st International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) and the 24th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (JBMO).

More specifically, the positions won by our students are:

SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL:

4th place: I. Dimoulios (11th Grade)
Dimoulios will join the National Team, which will consist of six senior high school students and will take part in the 61st International Mathematical Olympiad.

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL:

3rd place: K. Konstantinidis (9th Grade)
4th place: P. Liampas (9th Grade)
Konstantinidis and P. Liampas will join the National Team, will consist of six junior high school students and will take part in the 24th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad.

In the same competition, student A. Giannakis (8th Grade) was 2nd runner-up.
